Those noodle miners, always a responsible bunch, are still very excited about their new salt-reducing machines. Now they don’t just crank out oodles of noodles, but they make them with the same great taste and half the salt!

The miners, always putting their noodle-loving public first, reduced the salt across the range by 8% in 2003. The overwhelmingly positive response gave them the green light to take things further, and now Pot Noodle snacks contain a whopping 50% less salt across the range.

"It's complicated, but we take the noodle in its raw state, and feed it through this machine, and as the handle turns, just the salt gets separated, you see. Tastes the same, mind." said Gary.
