2006 – FUEL OF BRITAIN

The strapline ‘Fuel of Britain’ was born in 2006. Our new adverts featured a Pot Noodle mine in Crumlin, where a stream of ‘Noodle Fuel’ had been discovered by miners. Here’s a fact for you, the miners in the ad were the genuine Pot Noodle workforce, living the dream by bringing Pot Noodle to the nation!

2003 – THE NEW FLAVOURS KEEP COMING..

In 2003 Posh Noodle was launched, with three authentic Thai flavours: Oriental Sweet and Sour, Spicy Chicken and Spicy Chilli. In 2004 we launched another big favourite, Seedy Sanchez Mexican Fajita flavour. Southern Fried Chicken flavour was added in 2005. A hat-trick of tasty years!

2002 – GOING AT 5 POT NOODLES PER SECOND

In 2002, our Crumlin factory was producing 175 million pots per year. It was estimated that five Pot Noodles were being wolfed down every second!

In the same year the insanely hot Bombay Bad Boy flavour was launched. We challenge you to try it!

THE MILLENIUM KING OF SNACKS

In 2000 Unilever acquired Pot Noodle as one of its brands, and kicked off with the mighty King-size Pot Noodle. The biggest, tastiest pot snack around to this day!

GROWING UP IN THE 90S

1992 was a tasty year, with the introduction of our famous sauce sachets to each pot.

By 1995, the world of Pot Noodle was growing. Remember Fun Pots, Pot Rice, Pot Light and Pots of the World? Beautiful memories eh. Around 300,000 Pot Noodles were being chomped on every week.

You kept eating, so we kept creating. Hot Chicken Curry and Barbecue flavours arrived in 1996. And who could forget the Christmas limited-edition Turkey and Stuffing flavour? Probably the best Christmas dinner we’ve ever eaten.

POT NOODLE: IN THE BEGINNING

Despite the rumours, Pot Noodle is not made in heaven, but somewhere pretty similar – Crumlin, South Wales. We’ve called it our home since 1979.
